right in the heart of town. Did not care about how we stayed in another building from the main building parking was a little different as not much room over by the other building. The updating in the room was not the best job, the toilet base was gross never been cleaned you could tell as it had brown streaks down it,the carpet needs a good scrubbing, the paint job was horrible as they painted over wall paper that was peeling off the walls. If feel for the price of over $200 it should have been a little cleaner and a little better remodel/paint job.. love the town and the cool farmers market they had that saturday morning

August 2025 stay

The building is, obviously, dated. The room was clean, comfortable bed. We stayed 4 nights and never had any housekeeping services (didn't even empty the small trash cans), which i think unfortunately is the new normal in most hotels. I would think with the prices these days you would at least get your trash emptied. The pool was COLD, not really comfortable to swim in. Pretty sure Lake Superior was warmer than the pool. Location is convenient to walk to shops, restaurants on Washington and the lake/harbor is just a bit farther.

Clean and simple. Room size was a bit larger than you might expect, but not much. We were in the annex. Not as nice as main bldg. Location is great. 5 or 10 minute walk anywhere in the downtown area

Place is an old dorm in not a good neighborhood. Outdated, smelled like an old bowling alley. Only place to eat is the restaurant that I refused to eat at because it was expensive in a disgusting hotel. Homeless shelter right across the street. I should have done more research before I booked it.

Family vacation in Marquette

Family stay in the Marquette area decided to stay downtown at this hotel. Although an older hotel, the rooms and lobby were fairly modern. We had accommodations with a separate living room, which made it great to have an entertainment/relaxing area away from sleeping. Loved being downtown and enjoyed some food and beverage along the strip with some short hikes to the marina and related park, where they had a new big kids play ground. Pool water was freezing, but hot tub was adequate. No continental breakfast, but had a nice restaurant/bar for breakfast or pastry shops down the block. Spent time checking out pictured rocks, Munising, and Greywalls Golf Course (bucketlist). Also, check out Jilbert Dairy for ice cream.
