Walking distance to downtown. Shower was broken and maintenance never came to fix it.
The hotel has character and history, it’s clean and the location is prime for walking to dining options and exploring both the downtown and lakeside trails. We’re looking forward to our next stay!

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The hotel provided the smallest bar of soap and shampoo/conditioner bottles. For the $250+ price, I think this should be improved upon. The mattress was firm, so if you like a softer mattress, you may need to consider this. We enjoyed having cocktails in the 5th floor bar. It has a nice view of the lake.

sad to see the loss of an era with the renovation resulting in being very ordinary if not substandard. Also closed dining room, no regular housekeeping, no food or snacks in Crowsnest anymore. Room had super slow water drainage, loud clanking heater, frig froze items. Glad I saw what has happened but will not stay here again. It used to be my hotel of choice when in Marquette.
This is a nice hotel with 1930s ambience, well-decorated rooms and quality service and dining.
During our stay, the guest internet access was weak, often disappearing entirely.
I was surprised during check-in to be charged an additional $15 per day of stay in anticipation of obtaining drinks or snacks from the front desk. I was unable to confirm that the charges were reversed upon leaving as we got no snacks or drinks. The sole person on the front desk at the time was dealing with an apparently complicated billing issue with another guest.
Charming and nostalgic hotel and I enjoyed the old pictures of the place from the past that were in the room. Enjoyed a nice drink at The Crow's Nest and had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at the hotel.
Room had a dirty towel under the vanity. Shower floor looked unclean, both it and the caulk discolored. Lots of dings, chips in the furniture. Paint in the room definitely needs a refresh. Three bucks for water. No breakfast, neither of the free or paid kind. Have stayed here quite a bit over the years, probably off the list now.

The hotel is centrally located in Marquette. Walkable to restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel while nicely maintained, could use some deep cleaning of the shower (moldy caulking). The room is nicely decorated but is missing storage for clothes when staying longer with 2 people.
The hotel is not full service, so you need to ask for fresh towels, soap, toilet paper etc.
The hotel staff (1-2 behind the front desk) helps you only with the most basic tasks as checking in / out … not very customer service centric.

Just ok
The room was clean, but they said that housekeeping wouldnt come in on the 2nd day. If you were out of anything, you were told to go down to the front desk and get it.
This was a charming hotel with great lake views even though it was foggy during our visit. The onsite Northland Pub serves excellent old fashioneds and smash burgers. Location is within easy walking distances to local breweries and downtown.
The hotel was lovely. I liked the historic vibe of the architecture and the lobby . The check-in process was a little rocky. While I was checking in a group of airline staff came in behind me and the person at the front desk immediately began helping them instead of finishing my check-in. Then while they were handing me my keys, they told me that they had to let me know about a bad smell that had been reported from other guests staying on the second floor and they had to notify me because they had also put me on the second floor. So I asked if there were any other rooms available. Ultimately, they gave me new keys to a room on the fourth floor. The room and the floor and the stay were all just fine. I only stayed one night and did not have a chance to take advantage of the restaurant or the bar.

Poor maintene. nce of room, no one in hotel to correct problems. Location great everything else poor. No restaurant and told when checking in that rooms should not be made up or cleaned in multi day stay. I would not go back to this hotel.
The Landmark is an older hotel, but it is well maintained. Staff were all very friendly and ready and willing to help and answer questions.

Landmark by name, but not worth seeing!
Check-in was slow and unwelcoming. Room didn’t feel as though it had been cleaned properly with hairs in the shower. Had to practically beg for the use of an umbrella despite there being heavy rainfall outside. The barman on the top floor bar was laughably hostile and seemingly hated his job. Place feels like it needs a good clean up and change of management. Not acceptable at the prices they charge.
