It was well meeting good place to stay. It was convenient to being so close to Marquette, and I suppose the only downside would be the traffic driving down US 41.

This place was perfect for the type of traveler (like me) who doesn't need a ton of frills, but a nice, comfortable home base while you see the sights, for a reasonable price. Being dog friendly helped a ton, and my dog loved having the Iron Ore Heritage Trail right across the highway. Will definitely come back!

I enjoy staying at The Birchy. It doesn’t have a lot in the way of amenities in the room. But it has enough and it’s a beautiful spot.
