Right by the lake

This was a great place to stay! Large kitchen equipped with everything for cooking, 2 bathrooms, big front room, across the street from the marina which made it very easy and quick to get to the boat ramp. The weather did not allow us to enjoy the outside, but there is a lot of seating on the porch and in the yard to enjoy when the weather is nice. There was an outside electric plug in for my husband to charge the boat battery. The marina has a nice bar and a lot of outside seating. The check in/out was very easy, Ginger was easy to contact and replied to any questions quickly. Everything was very clean, ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the front room. Very comfortable for a weekend stay or longer.

Eclipse blast

Made a whirlwind trip to catch the eclipse. Place was clean and easy upfront communications. Good location for fishers. It’s under some renovations which we don’t care about but some might.

Great Place

Our family needed a place to stay in the Lake of Egypt area while visiting my mother-in-law that allowed our dog. This place was perfect. Clean and comfortable with a small fenced-in side yard. We appreciated having some indoor and outdoor games to keep us busy. The marina is within walking distance and offered food and drink options. All in all a lovely stay and would stay again. Highly recommend the short drive to Cross Eyed Bear for dinner. If you prefer cooking all of your meals, you will need to bring your own cooking oil, salt, pepper, etc.
