Elevator wouldn't move, took the stairs. Had to move microwave so cord would reach plug, dark, dim, dreary room. Outer doors not auto open, have to press handicap button... not too convenient if trying to transport luggage...Wifi never worked. No plugs available on left side of bed. Have no idea why anyone would rate this place above a 2.

Front desk super friendly, accommodating, helpful. The room just wasn’t great. We had purchased a king room for two nights and got a queen. Our friends stayed the same nights and purchased a king and got two queens. Bathrooms were mostly clean but ceiling full of water stains and peeling paint. The room was just tired and in need of upgrading.

Look elsewhere!!! Stay on the Michigan side.

Hotel is dated. Breakfast was free but cold. No warmers under chaffing dishes. Washed clothes as we were on a long road trip and the dryer ruined our clothing. Manager was not with assist us as we will need to replace the clothing to finish our trip. Look elsewhere for accommodations.

Where do I even start . The hotel has no AC unless it’s your room . “River view” you’re looking at a parking lot. If you’re over 6ft can not stand in the bathroom. Key cards never worked , so you would have to always go back down to the lobby. Had a smell , not the good hotel smell . The restaurant was closed for the weekend . And a lot of men who didn’t speak English sitting out in the halls , running around. (Don’t really care that they don’t speak English) def was just scary. Got very ghetto at night time .

Stay Away

Our first room smelled terrible and then we figured out it was due to standing water on the carpet. Our second room (dry carpet) had mold in the shower, the tub took a couple hours to drain after a shower and the toilet was nasty. Here's the best part: 1. The hotel can't give any discount due to this being booked through Experian. 2. Experian won't give a discount because the hotel needs to authorize it. 3. The hotel won't authorize it because if they do "Experian will credit you something however they won't pay us a dime for your stay." - directly from the front desk employee at this hotel.

We were very disappointed to arrive at the hotel and learn that the restaurant/bar was closed for the entire weekend. This was a selling point for our stay. The hotel should have posted on their site or something to give patrons a clear description of what they would NOT get during they stay. The hotel interior is outdated. The bathrooms need updating and better cleaniness. There was mildew in the tub/shower. Vacuuming was spotty. Majority of staff was wonderful and polite. Only met one staff member that didn't care to help anyone in a meanful way.
