It's not just all about the scenery in Marazion, although this is one of the main reasons that visitors flock to this coastal delight. The town is perhaps most famous because of the island and castle of St Michael's Mount. A causeway, once walked by pilgrims, leads to the island at low tide. At other times, visitors are ferried from Marazion in small boats. Marazion is the perfect holiday destination for every type of holidaymaker from couples who want to spend a tranquil few days away, to families and groups of friends looking for their next adventure. Marazion is 3.34 Miles from Penzance and 8 miles from St Ives.
