Lovely stay

We loved our stay there. Nice staff, nice pool area and lovely surroundings and we could hear howler monkeys. It was the most tranquil experience sitting outside our bungalow in the morning just enjoying the sounds from the nature.

I loved this resort, the staff was very friendly, and the area was great for families. They have an amazing pool and A/C in all the cottages. My only complaint is that the internet was out for a day, but I believe that was the internet provider's problem, not the resort's.

The resort is near beautiful beaches, it felt like camping and everyone was really nice, very quite place during the night but of course with nature sounding. The only thing that we didn’t like was the insects, our bedroom entry was full with ants, but it is understandable as is within the trees and nature.

I loved the size of the villa and what the property had to offer. It was bittersweet for the location of the property. It was peaceful being out of town and sweet to be in the jungle with the wildlife but it would have been nice to be in town to be close to restaurants and the night life.

This property was the best possible combination of resort amenities with vacation rental convenience. We rented the quadruple room which was a 2 bedroom stilted bungalow with a kitchen and living room. We enjoyed all of the facilities with our two little kids. We saw so many animals directly on the property! It was so great to be watching toucans from the pool, monkeys from just walking around and a couple of cool frogs.

It was our worst expecience in Costa Rica. Even the staff was very nice and helpful, the staying was terrible: - I dont understand how the shower was designed for 4 people, it was impossible to use the very small sink to wash your face or your hands. I think the space reserved for the kitchen (Useless as the kitchen was not equiped and you can juste make a coffee) should be added to the shower to make it more suitable to 4 people - The breakfast was terrible, you have just 2 options and no exceptions, you cannot have eggs without ham, you cannot have eggs + toast as eggs and toast are part of 2 different options. The quality was terrible, fruits without any taste. I think will less budget we can have a much better buffet breakfast - You can see at the end of the breakfast all the remaining food being stored for the day after, pathetic! - When I made a booking, it was supposed to be a SPA plus a Gym, nothing was there, I dont understand why! but they just said, no SPA and no GYM - One positive point, the parking near to the villa was very helpful - Also the pool was very nice but the bar is very expensive and the portions are too small I would never come back to this hotel!

Staff was welcoming and very understanding about our flight cancellation. They called to check on us. Provided great info where to go to the beach. The house keeping crew made sure our place felt very welcoming. Bartender Jonathan was so awesome. Gave recommendations. Stephanie welcomed us the night we got in late. She checked on us to make sure we arrived safe in Costa Rica since AA canceled our flight.

Breakfast was poor quality and very bland. Server insulted me and my wife (I notified the manager and he did immediately removed her, but was back next morning) The rest of the staff was fine.Our room was basic and constantly had many centipedes walking on all the floor and counter areas, dont walk barefoot! Very noisy at night with local guests drinking and yelling. We stayed at this location in April 2024 and it was much better. This time we paid for two nights but could not enjoy it so we left at 6am. Guard did not want to let us leave he called the manager then passed me the phone. Manager told me I had to pay my bar bill, neither I nor my wife drink nor did we consume anything there. They finally let us leave at 7am. We will not be returning there.
