📋House Rules
1. The primary guest booking and signing the rental agreement must be at least 25 years old.
2. A signed rental agreement and photo ID are required within 24 hours of booking.
3. Only registered guests listed on the rental agreement are permitted on the property at any time. No unregistered visitors.
4. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Loud music or excessive noise is not permitted. Loud noise after 8:00 PM may be grounds for eviction.
5. No pets, smoking, loud music, commercial photography, parties, or events of any kind.
6. A $500 security deposit hold is required prior to check-in.
7. Guest verification through Truvi is required prior to arrival. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text — please complete before arriving for a smooth check-in.
8. Check-in: 3:00 PM — Check-out: 10:00 AM.

⚠️ Important Information
◉ Security: Exterior cameras monitor the driveway, entrances, and gardens of the property.
◉ Children: To ensure everyone’s safety, we cannot accommodate children under 5 years old due to the spacing between cable railings. This can pose a fall risk for young children who may try to climb or slip through.
◉ Air Conditioning: Bedrooms only. Keep doors closed when AC is running and turn off when leaving the room. Social areas are open-air by design.
◉ Power Outages: Occasional outages may occur during heavy rain — normal for Costa Rica. Typically resolves within minutes to a couple of hours. Emergency flashlights provided.
◉ Wildlife: La Casa Roja is in a natural jungle setting. Guests may encounter insects and local wildlife — part of the authentic Costa Rican experience.
◉ Cancellations: Third-party travel insurance is required for cancellations outside our cancellation policy.
