Look, I understand this is a budget franchise, but stay far from this place. Booked through expedia, so naturally they only show the most prestigious room/s they have. Well I check in and get to my room, sat my soda down. Went into use bathroom and get a shower. WRONG! There was hairs in the tub, okay, I can live with that, so upon further inspection I notice the toilet seat is a little dingy. Tried to wipe it off, no problem just stained from old age. Lifted the seat God and it had pieces of God knows what. Upon even closer inspection, I noticed behind the toilet it was really nasty, so I got a closer look and it was black mold! Yes folks, you heard me right. So, I get in my car, drove up to the office, advised the man on duty. He asked, "Are you checking out?" I said "no, I just want a clean room." He said he would clean my room, I once again told him I just wanted a different clean room, I have to get up early. He said, "I will come clean your room." So I give in and like fine thats cool. I drive back to room, wait a few minutes for the man or cleaning staff. The man shows up with a single rag and only what I can presume was glass cleaner since it was blue and in an unmarked bottle. I immediately told him that was black mold behind the toilet. He said he would clean it. At this point, I just want sleep, so, I handed him the key card back and booked another hotel.

Upon arrival, the hotel room was in extremely unsanitary condition — including visible dirt, poor upkeep, and, most concerning, the presence of flying bugs / bed bugs. This made the room completely uninhabitable and forced me to leave immediately for my health and safety.

AC worked fine although the front of the unit was broken and falling apart. Black mold on the walls of the bathroom, random hair in the bath tub, greasy hand prints on the shower walls, cigarette burns on the blankets, something slimy on the refrigerator handle, and the added safety lock on the door was screwed to wood trim that was barely attached. Lots of cigarette butts and beer bottle caps throughout the parking lot. By far the worst place I've ever seen. Their pictures are lies, clearly from a different facility. I also heard from 3 different sources locally that this is the worst area to stay in with highest crime rate in the local city. Towels and sheets seemed clean that I could tell. Never again.

It’s a Motel not a Hotel.

I would not want to stay here if my wife and daughters made the trip. It was just myself and my son. It’s a Motel 6 so don’t expect too much. We were here for the MotoAmerica races at Mid-Ohio. The A/C worked the beds were not bad. The bathroom and shower probably the worst part of the room. But it had hot and cold water so can’t complain there. No shampoo just slim bars of soap. The door to the shower/toilet was hard to open. There was no remote for the TV. We did not experience any issues with bed bugs. It was quiet at night. So we slept decent. The area is not great but there were a lot of other motorcycle enthusiasts staying here at the same time so made me feel better. Just a heads up the room door is right to the outside. Would I stay here again??? Maybe we got lucky but probably would stay here again.
