Excellent staff, very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. A/C was very responsive. Pool and rooftop bar are great pluses— did not expect to enjoy it that much. Also spa area was a nice surprise.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars, however I strongly disagree with the policy requiring staff to personally cover the cost when an invoice isn’t provided. And the fact that you tape this sign at each front desk monitor for guests to see is a terrible reflection on management and not the employees: "ASK FOR INVOICE If we don't hand you an invoice, your order/service is free. Our staff will be accountable for covering the cost." Holding employees financially responsible for missing invoices is unfair and unacceptable. Policies should support staff—not threaten their wages. This creates fear, not accountability.
The staff was exceptional, so they don't deserve to live under this threat.
My room was about $125/night. I can only imagine if an employee has to pay for this, given this is probably an entire month's salary for them.

Nice upmarket hotel, with great facilities. The room was large and very upmarket, with a great view of the city from the floor I was on. The staff were friendly and helpful and the selection at breakfast was broad. I was a little disappointed with the choices available at rooftop bar, and decided to go elsewhere. The local area is very lively and may not be wholly safe, but if you stick to the main streets it should be OK. I had no problems.

The check in wasn’t the best. There is a led light that automatically comes on and off all night without the ability to turn it off. There is no bottled water in the room and you are given some substandard jug to get water from a filter up the corridor. I’ve stayed here before and it was much better than it was this time.

the humidity INSIDE the hotel was off the charts, all of my clothing the bedding the towels (which they would not provide more than 2 per room) we CONSTANTLY damp throughout my stay. And there was a mold/mildew smell in the halls and the room. I live on the road as a digital nomad and basically live in hotels and Airbnb's and I amost never write reviews but this was so awful that I feel compelled. A tiny window that can be propped open to deafening traffic noise in a desperate attempt "air it out" did not help matters. Gross. I got sick from the mod for an entire week.

Unsafe, hostile, and predatory. Avoid. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Front desk and door staff acted like guards, not hosts—openly rude from check-in to check-out. The room’s large blinds collapsed onto me, leaving a bruise on my shoulder; no apology, no help. Staff then refused to let my partner leave until I checked out, and tried to charge 9,000 pesos for what they called a “small stain” on the sheets. As a business owner, I hate leaving reviews that could hurt a business—and this is the first bad hotel review I’ve ever written. I travel a lot, and this ranks at the bottom. Spend your money elsewhere.

Good: 1. Staff was courteous. 2. Room was clean. Not good: 1. The AC in the room was really loud. 2. The “king” bed was just two beds pushed together. I could feel the seam in the middle. 3. WiFi was unusable due to my room being at the end of the hall. 4. The Churros and pizza I ordered were really doughy and barely edible. 5. I tried the breakfast buffet the first morning and got there kind of late (about 15 minutes before last order, 30 minutes before closing). As I was trying to find a seat I noticed every table was dirty. All the staff were just standing around. Finally one of the staff runs up to me and asks “Where do you want to sit? I will clean it for you.”
