The property was not even open for business the doors were chained shut. I hope my credit card was not charged for this for I will be checking it tomorrow. Expedia should have known that this business was closed and not made that reservation. I had to scramble to find my own hotel room

Hotels needs to be updated. Motel 6 in junction city is closed. Yet still allowed to be booked.

The Motel 6 was closed with no lights on and warnings signs to not enter and no trespassing signs. So, there was no way to check in a closed motel. There is no way that Motel 6 should be taking reservations for a closed Motel.

Give this place a hard pass!

First of all, there is no staff at this motel. Check in is through a person on a computer screen. My reservation was for a non-smoking room for 3 people. When we arrived, the man on the screen told me that the only room available was a smoking room. There were maybe about 20 people in the whole place, (most of us were going to the same conference) so how is it that we had the only room available. I tried to find room in another hotel and there wasn’t much available. When I let them know that we were staying, they blamed the app for giving us a smoking room. The sheets were clean and the beds were comfortable, The bathroom ceiling was disgusting and the shower head was crusty. I never saw one staff member/cleaning person there for the 3 days we were there. If I can help it, we will never stay there again.

The hallway and stairs had lights like night lights. It was hard to even read room numbers. The toilet in one of the two rooms had mold inside, my wife went to the supply room to find cleaner. The other room didn't have a working air conditioner. My son stayed inthat room and called for maintenance. Was told it would only take 10 minutes. After a half hour he called back and asked to get a different room. They did do that. They also don't have front desk staff. We checked around 10 PM and had to do it with a kiosk. We left after 8 AM, there wasn't anyone we ever saw working there. This used to be nice a few years ago it isn't surprising there were only 3 vehicles in the parking lot.

Sketchy.

Laundry facilities were out of order, ice machine was….missing completely, hallways (all of them) were absolutely dark. No lights at all. Room numbers were scotch taped on all doors,but, with no light near impossible to make out. The room locked behind us when we left and hotel maintenance broke in with a screw driver.

All hallways extremely dark couldnt distinguish room numbers without flashlight on phone. Lady on duty was nice but had to check in via kiosk. Air conditioning in room kept going off and not working smelled mildewy
