Beautiful hotel in a great location and the staff were kind enough to let us work from the bar until our rooms were ready. Valet parking was easy. Pre-check in was fine but check in when our rooms were ready was a faff and took longer than it should have as the staff were repeating the steps completed at pre check in. My room was lovely but very noisy so windows are single pane (the hotel is a listed building) but there was what sounded like construction noise outside/nearby all night which made it difficult to sleep well because the windows weren’t soundproof. Staff were lovely and helpful but the poor night’s sleep ruined the overall experience. Breakfast and bar was great!

I would say this is the best Hotel Manchester Check-in was fantastic a glass of champagne on arrival such a nice touch. The room was great very classy. This hotel has a cocktail bar attached to it called sterling again its perfect we went a Thursday night the ambiance of the room and lighting are spot on. We had afternoon tea and I can say without any hesitation it was the best we have ever had. The main eating area is the old stock exchange trading floor and as you walk in it feels special and it certainly is. We will be back for another visit as we would like to try dinner in the Tenders restaurant. Breakfast was superb service at the hotel is 1st class all in a perfect break.
