The staff were lovely, the room was comfortable, no major issues at all. The room/decor could maybe do with a lick of paint, a couple of broken bits here and there, but overall, given it's probably the cheapest stay you can find that close to the city, it's incredibly good!

It's a nice quiet neighborhood, easy to get to on public transit, and my room was a good size. However, the walls are thin and sound carries, and housekeeping is not their strong suit - the shower curtain had a bunch of mildew on it and there was toothpaste on the tea kettle.

The room was like a sauna when we got in there, the heating had been left on and windows were closed. It’s the most basic room. The bed squeaked every time you moved and the pillow was thin. It was an uncomfortable night. The shared bathroom was dirty and there was a hole in the ceiling. Would not stay again

Garden and bed sheets were nice. Needs cleaning and decorating. TV did not work, no staff to talk to. If this is how guesthouses are run now I will never stay in another. One towel for two people for two night and very cold first night. Don’t think they turn on the heating until you walk in the door.

The Queens Guest House is excellent value for money. The rooms are very clean as are the shared bathrooms and toilet If you dont have en suite. I stayed here for 11 days whilst between house's and I would highly recomend this guest house.
