Excellent choice for central Manchester

Beautifully designed hotel with comfortable, clean rooms in excellent condition. The "Continental" breakfast was more than adequate to start the day with a full belly. A few minutes walk from the Art Gallery, the cathedral, and the gorgeous Rylands Library. There is also a tram stop on St. Peter's Square for getting to places a little farther away.

Rooms clean but beds on the smaller side. Amenities and facilities very basic but manageable for short stays. Staff great, left something in our room on checkout and contacted them. They let us return to look for it! Location great, next to tram stop. Parking limited close to it.

I stayed one night at Motel One St Peter’s Square, Manchester and overall had a great experience. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room very comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, though it’s worth noting it’s a continental selection only, so no full English available. Still, plenty of choice to start the day. The only downside was a noisy spell around 2am that lasted for about an hour, which disturbed what was otherwise a restful night. Despite that, I’d definitely stay again — excellent location, modern feel, and great value for money.

The breakfast was terrible - with only a Continental breakfast available. We wouldn't have booked this hotel if we'd known in advance that they didn't have a kitchen and couldn't heat up anything. The rooms were a bit pokey but in fairness it was only advertised as a Motel. Room servicing wasn't good: there was no hairdryer on arrival and we had to ask for one; toilet paper supplies were stingy and rooms were a bit chilly at night.
