The room was lovely and clean. It was also spacious. Reception nice and bar handy. Our room was freezing. I appreciate it’s a listed building but single glazing! Also not the hotels fault but due to location and single glazing. Felt like we were out on the street. Not the best nights sleep.

Interactions with the staff were pleasant enough. The room itself was up to expectations. However... despite being turned off, there was a continual whirring noise coming from the aircon device which kept me awake for quite some time. I recommend taking earplugs which sadly I did not

Expensive for what it is. The room was really small, you could barely walk around the bed. The Aircon was hard to control, the room was cold so we tried to heat it up, put it on 28degrees but it never reached, it was still chilly. However, it's clean, staff are friendly and it's central for shopping, Christmas markets, food etc. If you want them to hold your bag after/before check out, it's £1 per bag!! Bit unfair, when the room was super expensive anyway, almost £200 for one night (Saturday)
