Great service and friendly staff. Dog friiendly and staff accommodated us to a more out of the way room as my dog can get triggered by footsteps in the middle of the night. Clean rooms and great location. We will return.

The room was clean and had all the amenities including an iron and ironing board. The only thing that was negative was the sink mixer tap, as soon as you turn on the cold water the hot water would stop flowing. You could only get hot or cold water out at a time.

Hello, I am writing to request a partial refund for my recent stay booked through Hotels.com at the Holiday Inn. Upon check-in, the room (Room 119) had several cleanliness and maintenance issues: • Bathroom sink was already very dirty on arrival and not draining properly, filling up when used (I have video evidence). • Empty tissue box in the bathroom upon arrival. • Dust chunks present on the bed, which is a cleanliness concern. I have photos and video documenting all of the above issues. During my stay, I spoke directly with Mel and Gem, members of the hotel staff. They acknowledged the issues and advised that a partial refund could be issued, but that it would need to be processed through Hotels.com, as the booking was made through your platform. Given the condition of the room at check-in and the inconvenience caused, I believe a partial refund is reasonable and appropriate. I am happy to provide all supporting photos and videos upon request. Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your response.

The room was very clean and passed my wife's inspection! 😁. It was well decorated and all the appliances worked well. The breakfast was very good, with good options, though no black pudding, in Lancashire!. Items were regularly refilled and of good quality. What stood out to me, as a retired caterer, was the teamwork by all the staff, both back and front of house, to ensure tables were regularly cleared and cleaned so new guests could enjoy their breakfasts. Well done to all, really enjoyed our brief visit.

Room was spotless. Bed comfortable, a choice of soft or firm pillow. Shower was great. Breakfast was good. All in all very pleased value for money. It’s a no frills hotel but it did it perfectly.
