I made my best choice to choose this hotel, I only paid £50 per night for this hotel, but it worth every penny. The room is clean and nice, additionally, the breakfast buffet is sooooooo good. The staffs are very friendly as well. Nothing to complain.

Due perhaps to the lack of ventilation in the WC/shower room, the door wouldn't shut properly, and I was loathe to push it lest I inadvertently lock myself in. Otherwise, I suppose that it represented value for money. A convenient location. I didn't sample the breakfast due to my early departure time.

Very conveniently placed. Helpful staff, excellent breakfast.On bottom three stairs, a handrail would be very useful for elderly and disabled persons, if one could be fitted there.

I needed a relatively cheap room Near the station for an overnight stay before my train home- I didn’t arrive till 1am to Manchester Piccadilly- it was pretty near the hotel which is what I wanted as travelling as a female alone - the hotel and rooms are very dated but it was warm and comfortable and served its purpose well -

Room was small, as expected. The internal rooms don't have windows, which is fine - except there is little ventilation, so it's very hot and stuffy in the room (even with a portable fan). Bedsheets and towel were clean/white. However, shower does not drain properly. Walls are very thin - can hear people walking and talking, flushing toilets at all hours. Fire alarm was set off at 4am with no explanation - so did not get much sleep. Some staff friendly, others seem reluctant to help. Would not stay here again. Ever.

Not perfect but good value for your money.

The hotel is dated and in need of some updating but it's clean and very reasonably priced. I stay here everytime I come to Manchester. Its perfectly positioned and for what I pay I cannot grumble. The beds are clean an comfortable.

The property was very central and handy for eating out, shopping and public transport. The downside was we were at the back of the property adjacent to a local popular pub that had both live music and folk outside until gone midnight. Then, around 5am they started to empty bins (with glass in them) - hence very little sleep. The window wouldn't shut properly which made it worse. When we mentioned this we were told 'to be expected - it's a city hotel', but we have stayed in other 'city hotels' in Manchester and not experienced such noise and thus poor quality of sleep.

Miss and hit and miss !

Cusotmer service sorted my mess out and the hotel were fab. Room 204 was similar to 202. The windows still have cracks and yes, the door handle in the bathroom was broken - the light in the shower flickered but the bed was so comfy! I'd almost let them off for it. The problem I have is that and Exec Double - this was so much smaller to those on the 1st floor. And for the love of god ... CLEAN THE BLOODY WINDOWS !!! But can;t fault the staff, they were fabulous.
