There was a strange smell in the lift and in the front reception area and there was loads of loud banging at 2:30am outside our room and above our room other than that it was a very nice stay would likely go back again but request a room on the higher floor so no banging above our room

Incredibly tired and worn out. The stairs were both wonky and moved under foot. Needs a complete refurb. Will make sure I book earlier and get somewhere else next time as by far the worst value for money I've had in Manchester unfortunately. The staff I spoke to were lovely.

Bit of an odd room but I like it. I was in from 500 and something which turned out to be up to the 4th floor, up some stairs, through a door and up more stairs. Really odd.

Clean but could do with a revamp. My room was at the back overlooking a pub which was a little noisy at times. Staff were friendly, although the price seemed steep for the quality of the room however it's still a budget option for the area. Booking breakfast on site is cheaper than booking via hotels.com

Room was good but windows need updating. Sadly our window didnt close properly but we had a nice time in the hotel and staff was very courteous and friendly. Breakfast was nice too but maybe could do with a bit more choice on the contenital side.

After seeing mixed reviews online we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Hallways a little tired and could do with updating but entrance and restaurant were fine. Very pleased with the standard of room which was clean and very comfortable. We will be back! 🙂
