Compare Hotels with Air Conditioning in Manarola

"Very beautiful, but byer beware! This property is in the national park of the Cinque Terre. It is tthe highest point in Manarola. The room itself is very nice and modern. That being said, there should be a disclaimer that states how difficult it is to get there. The lising states that there is no elevator, which there are none in the Cinque Terre. Walking up the hill to the hotel is equivaleent to climbing approximately 18 flights of stairs. Anyone who has physical limitations or is just not in shape to make that climb should be warned in advance. The listing also states that there is help available for luggage of which there is not. When I complained to the property about this they said I would've had to request that in advance. However there is no indication of having to do so anywhere in the listing. The picture of the beautiful deck with a view was one of the reasons I booked this hotel only to have a tiny terrace with a bistro table and 2 bistro chairs with the room. When I contacted the property to complain they said that the deck is only for the honemoon suite. Again, not stated in the listing. I would say if you are in good physical condition and want a great view this is for you. There is no way we were able to go out in the morning, go back to the room mid day, go back out for dinner and then back to he room. We had to stay out all day or pick up some salumi,wine and cheese and eat in the room."

"An excellent place to stay in La Spezia! Central in old town, but quick walk to train station & also to bus stop to Porto Venere (Mercato Nord). 2 supermarkets & the town's huge fish & food market, within 1 minute walk. Very good communication pre checkin, actual person available at checkin, who was very helpful (there from midday, until I think 7pm) which also enables luggage storage. Very comfortable bed (not too hard!) & pillows. Building has a lift, yay. Fridge, kettle, coffee maker with decent coffee. Terrific shower with instant hot water. Tastefully decorated room, with chairs whose design enables them to double as tables. Our room was on 2nd floor facing an inner courtyard garden, so it was very quiet."
