Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. I love staying at Tamarack Lodge, it is truly my favorite place to stay at in the Mammoth area. Some of the small cabins are showing their age, but overall it’s a lovely place and if the price and timing works out, I will always come back to stay here during a visit.
