Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. I have spent several thousands of nights in hotels, all around the world, and this one ranks near the very bottom. The hotel is extremely outdated. There is one elevator that is extremely slow. The breakfast is mostly low quality junk food. The pool has been under construction for over a year. It’s fine if a hotel has limitations and flaws, but just be upfront and do not charge premium prices.

Hotel is going through a much needed remodel. We stayed on the third floor and were immediately hit with the smell of Urine once existing to our room. Our room was dated with furniture from the 80’s.The vanity area in room was at the entry door and situated on wall to wall carpet. The air conditioning unit sounded like a diesel engine and sleeping was difficult at best. Our coffee maker had no filter compartment to brew the coffee, and the water reservoir was filled with wurm like residue.

stayed at Shilo Inns on August 16. The hotel is quite old, and parking is somewhat limited. However, the rooms are spacious and very clean. Overall, it was a decent experience. The food options were limited, and there were no fruits available

This hotel is terrible.

This is a run down hotel. They are redoing the exterior, but the interior is what needs help. The tile in the bathroom in front of the toilet was broken all up. The bathroom ceiling was so water damaged it was falling down. The elevator control panel was open and swinging open. Every part of this hotel is falling apart. Spend the extra $40 to stay some other place.
