Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Unfortunately the hot tub was not in service due to renovations and that was not known at the time of booking. The carpets need to be replaced very old. The service was good and the kids enjoyed breakfast.

Parking was easy, but the rooms seemed to be from the 80s.. got scary vibes there that my kids did not want to stay there the second night. We ended cutting our stay early and going somewhere else.

Friendly staff, probably the busiest I have seen the hotel during this visit which is not surprising considering the great snow from the recent storms. Unfortunately the renovations are still slowly progressing, which meant no pool or hot tub access, really wish they were able to finish that by now. The steam room and sauna were available however the sauna did not seem to be working properly. The steam room worked well after letting it warm up for about 20 minutes. Overall another nice visit and still one of my favorite places to stay for short snowboard trips. Great value for the price and close proximity to the mountain.

This hotel is very run down, and gets more run down every year. The breakfast room is a mess, the food isn’t refilled so it is almost out of everything 1 hour before breakfast is over, and they now stop hot breakfast at 8:30, which is crazy. For $300/ night this is one of the worst deals I have ever seen in a hotel.

The rooms and property haven’t been updated or even looked after in years. The pool is “being redone” for two years now. Restroom ceiling has mold and paint is coming off. Only reason to stay here is that there is no other similar alternative and that’s probably why they don’t care about maintenance

the property has been under re-building (pool area) for months if not years, which makes the sauna area unpleasant to use. Checking-in was a mess. Our room was filthy and have not been cleaned. Looks like no one had been checking anything. Bad experience, and because we used Expedia they refused to provide any kind of refund or credit. Which makes me wonder also why to use Expedia at all in the future

Easy to check in. Stephanie was helpful and gave me ideas on things to do while we stay for the next couple of days. The room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. My whole family were happy staying here. Dog friendly place. My dog really like it. We will be back again
