Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Amazing prices and great location right next to Grocery Outlet and the main road in Mammoth. Hotel is a little older but the rooms are huge and cleaned well. Free Breakfast is great, basic but you have all that you need. No facilities to speak of but a great stay nonetheless.

Stayed at the Shilo Inn 3 different trips the last 5 weeks . There was major construction underway each time but hardly noticed. Staff is friendly and the continental breakfast is the bomb. Rooms clean, plenty of towels. Nice econo lodge clientele as well. .

I really liked the stay, they have good breakfast in the mornings. I gave it 4 because the pool and hot tub were closed due to renovations. Also, the hotel was a bit outdated but other than the staff was very friendly and attentive.
