About the Space
Skip the car — this is what Mammoth living is supposed to feel like. Our loft condo sits 331 meters from the Village Gondola, with Mammoth Brewing Company right across the street. After a day on the mountain, you walk home. Some of the group can turn in early while others head out — no coordination required.
The unit is a 1-bedroom, 2-bathroom loft that sleeps up to six (Town of Mammoth Lakes certified occupancy). The loft holds a queen bed, there's an additional queen in the main space, and a pull-out sofa handles two more. It was fully remodeled in Winter 2019 and includes WiFi, flat-screen TVs, full kitchen equipment, and enough towels and linens to feel genuinely at home.
Year-Round Mountain Access
In winter, walk to the gondola and ski or ride Canyon. In summer, take the main gondola to the top and bomb back down to the Village on some of the best mountain bike trails in the state. Hiking, fishing, and everything else the Eastern Sierra offers is right outside the door — no driving required once you're here.
Complex Amenities
Shared amenities managed by the HOA include two hot tubs, two saunas, a pool, a grill and lounge area, and a shared laundry room. Access to these is not guaranteed but has always been available in our experience.
What's Included
Guests have exclusive use of the full interior, any firewood or sleds stored on the deck, and up to two parking spaces (parking passes required — see house rules). The condo is professionally cleaned before every arrival.
A Note on Neighbors
Two full-time working residents live below the unit. They're great neighbors and we want to keep it that way. Please be mindful when arriving late, moving through common areas, or settling in — details are covered in the house rules.
Pets & Service Animals
The HOA does not permit pets. If a member of your group will be accompanied by a service animal, please notify us before booking and complete the Service Dog Registration Form available at HIDDENVALLEYMAMMOTH dot COM under the Forms section. HOA staff and board members may approach guests to ask two questions permitted under fair housing law: (1) is the animal a service animal required for a disability, and (2) what task has it been trained to perform. We want you to be prepared for that possibility so it's not a surprise.
Taxes
A 16% Transient Occupancy Tax/TBID applies to all stays under 31 days and is collected at booking.
Security Camera
A single exterior-facing camera is mounted on the entrance windowsill. It covers the front door and patio area only, records no audio, and exists solely to protect guests against inaccurate reports of occupancy violations, unauthorized pets, or excess vehicles. It has never been used for any other purpose.
We're always reachable by phone if you have questions before or during your stay. We hope you fall in love with this place the way our family has.
