One of my favorite places to stay! A little drive from the Airport but close to a local general store in Makawao. The hibiscus room is a private room facing the mountain and is absolutely peaceful. Everything needed to cook is readily available and the restroom/shower facilities are clean and available inside the lodge. Plenty of activities and amenities to enjoy the property; including hot tub, ping-pong, Cornhole and fire pit. The owners and staff are very friendly and make sure you are taken care of. Highly recommend and will be back soon!

A bit of confusion about our room assignment first couple days, but otherwise great location, great view of Haleakala, hot tub felt great at end of day, and Mika and Tammi are wonderful hosts. Breakfast is just self-serve coffee/tea, fig bars and instant oatmeal. But there's a full kitchen and supermarket about five miles away. Photo on listing is for stand-alone cabin; other rooms are lodge-style on first-floor of owners' house. But there are three showers/baths to share among seven rooms, so no waiting. Pineapple farm, great restaurant (Hailiimaile Gen Store), with farmers market third Friday of each month, walking distance.

I was here over 20 years ago and never forgot the feeling I had staying in the hibiscus cottage with the most amazing breeze coming through, surrounded by Hawaiian farmland and a peace you have to experience to know. When I stayed here the second time I felt that feeling all over again. It’s a magic I can’t explain, but if you come here, you’ll know exactly what I mean. Pure heaven.

This was overall an amazing stay for a night. Hot tub and the views were fantastic. The only criticism we have is that the property was advertised as having free breakfast included, however, the only thing available was two packs of cookies, and tea bags.

I want to thank Mika and Tammi for the upgrade to the Hibiscus Room. It was my fault that I didn’t document my other guest and booked the smallest room which I thought was cheaper. In the end, I got a really nice view of Haleakala and the Pineapple fields. It was a nice and quiet properly and they were one text away if we ever needed anything. I would highly recommend this property to a friend. Not too far from the places we wanted to go. Truly enjoyed my stay.

They say they are bed and breakfast, but they’re not, for breakfast,they give a granola bar and pure fruit😳🙈. One of the reason that I book was they say free breakfast , I was very upset. They don’t offer breakfast what they give us a snack.

It was similar to a hostel, with shared bathrooms, and a single kitchen area, but with a few extra “guests” living among the pots and pans . I’m glad I didn’t bring my parents along with me for this leg of the trip, they would have walked in and walked out. Nice people I’m sure, but whole place needs an upgrade and clean out on a regular basis, which is not being done .

Had a great stay at Gods Peace Of Maui! The owners were very friendly, and other guests were as well. Many were quiet and kept to themselves. The amenities all worked, and the outdoor shower was a bonus. The room was clean & spacious. Used as a home base to make breakfast/lunch, and was out all day. Great experience and would recommend for anyone on a budget who doesn't mind sharing common spaces. Never wanted to leave Maui!
