Had a wonderful time at this property. It was easy to get to and lovely to pull up to with a beautiful classic garden. The place was clean and welcoming, a lovely place to relax. We really enjoyed both the front and back porches, the fire pit and the hot tub. Our son enjoyed playing out in the garden and saw an elk out on the road. However, it is still well in civilization so we did hear some music on Friday night, but it was still lovely to stay there.

We absolutely loved this cabin, everything was perfect! It was extremely clean, the hot tub was great! Even my dogs loved it, especially sniffing all around the property. We loved hearing the brook on the back deck. The cabin was thoroughly stocked and decorated so nicely. We would definitely come back, thank you again!!

Twin Creek Refuge is AMAZING! The beds and recliner couch were very comfortable. Sitting on the screened in porch and listening to the creek go by was very relaxing. Thank you Gary for letting us arrive an hour early and for being so kind.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at Twin Creeks Refuge. It was in a great location, very close to the main road , restaurants, and shops, but it still felt private and secluded. Easy drive, no steep road or driveway. The screened in back porch overlooking the creek was our favorite and our pups loved it too!! Everything was clean and plenty of room. We would definitely stay again.

Gary is a very nice host, the house is beautiful with the enjoyment of two porches. The back porch is screened in looking over the creek. Very clean house, comfortable furniture, and had everything we needed! Perfect location with no steep hills. We visited Cataloochee Ski resort, Cherokee, Waynesville ( has a dog bar and dog bakery), Canton ( has a a dog park and river walk), and we loved walking our Goldendoodle around the trail on Lake Junaluska. After a long day on the slopes the jacuzzi was warm and relaxing as well. We loved everything about our stay and we will be back!

Great Getaway

This cabin is perfect. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that the owner paid a lot of attention to detail. Everything is clean and you will find everything needed for a great vacation. It is centrally located yet has privacy.

Beautiful cabin tucked away but close to everything! Everything was very comfortable, even had blankets for the rocking chairs on the back porch! Everything was very clean. Beautiful location on the creek. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful mountain cabin

This place is so charming and was the perfect cabin for our mountain getaway. Very classy and quality everything, from the sheets to towels to dishes to hot tub. It had everything we needed and matched the description perfectly. Highly recommend!
