Booked this hotel to travel to Burgos to attend Dance World Cup Finals - about 45 mins drive on the motorway. Not a luxury hotel and it’s clean and good bathrooms. Except reception, no other staff spoke English but you can get by. Google Translate came in handy. The hotel turns off the A/C everyday from 1.30 AM till 3.30 PM. First time been in a hotel where the hotel control the A/C in rooms! Have mini fridges in rooms. Restaurant - buffet breakfast with fried eggs and bacon as hot food. Same options everyday. Charge Eur 14/person and not worth it. Lunch and dinner menu varies but nothing exceptional. We drove to Palencia for dinner since there’s a good choice there. Pool - communal and just 2 mins walk. Hotel takes an Eur 10 refundable deposit for fob need to enter pool premises. Have a kids pool as well and there’s green area (sun and shaded) around the pool. Dont forget to ask for pool towels from hotel. Gym - on the 4th floor. Ask reception to open. Have some cardio machines and a weight resistance machine. Good for a hotel like this. Has sauna as well though we didn’t use.

Good hotel for an overnight stop

We booked as an overnight stop on a long drive so we were grateful for a good room and an easy location not far from the main route we were travelling. We were grateful to find a good hotel that was dog friendly as we were travelling with our Cocker Spaniel. The room was a little worn in places but otherwise a very good stay. Good value for an overnight stop.

Although it is dog friendly, if you have a dog you cannot use the hotel facilities. Your dog is only allowed in reception and your room. There is no where you can use the dining facilities or have breakfast if you have a dog with you. There is no where near the hotel that you can eat or purchase food and drinks. There are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room.

The hotel is well located for travelling down through Spain. The reception and rooms are excellent. The staff are very helpful. We have stayed 3 times as the hotel is dog friendly. However, you can only take your dog to and from the room. We therefore are unable to have an evening meal or breakfast at the hotel. We are not aware of any local places. The hotel is big enough and has enough outside space where they could have a pet friendly area to enable people with pets to have breakfast or an evening meal, however, they do not offer this facility.

Highly hotel

From a distance the hotel looked rather motel like from its neon yellow HOTEL sign, but when you arrive, you see it fronted with a beautifully kept garden with lush trees hung with lights and a perfectly manicured lawn The reception and lounge area is equally tastefully, traditionally furnished The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds, quiet and nice views The area is a quiet hamlet and seems safe There is both outdoor and an indoor locked car park Supper was a delightful affair on the lawn, a delicious salad served with a smile and very attentive waiters

Typical out of town hotel.

Hotel was good but not sure it deserves all of the stars it has. Clean and comfortable with free, easy, onsite parking. More staff needed in the bar/restaurant on the Sunday night that we stayed but maybe it was unusually busy.

New, business-style hotel just off the main highway, well outside of Palencia, at the edge of a new suburban development. Very standard 4-star property; comfortable, well-maintained, large room; lots of parking around the hotel; acceptable dining room (no nearby restaurants). Convenient for a stopover.

The location is excellent, just one minute from the highway. The hotel is beautiful both from the outside as from the inside hall. The room was nice and big, including a fridge. The restaurant is nice and the food is good for a very reasonable price. Pity that the staff in the restaurant has no knowledge of other languages (for example French or English)

Our standing. 4* hotel. Excellent food at extremely reasonable prices, eg Three course diner with a bottle of wine,1 litre of mineral water, bread etc included, for two persons, was just €18 each. Buffet breakfast was €9 and well-equipped room rate just €55. Would definitely stay again.
