Very nice hotel and was excellent value for money given the Tapapies festival was on. Some very odd little things though, for example no coffee/tea making facilities in the room (although coffee served in reception was excellent). Advertised minibar was not available and fridge was off. The TV wasn’t fully functional, was told that it wasn’t possible to connect the TV to the wifi even though I used my hotspot from my phone in the end as like some tv to get to sleep but no English channels available. Overall though, would definitely recommend.

Location is fantastic. Right next to Atocha train station. Remember, Madrid is a bustling hub and an ancient city… the hotel is showing its age and the fit and finish of room amenities and floor tiles on main stairs is evident. Elevators are small. 4 people and luggage tops. Staff are friendly and kind. If you like to walk, you can get to Plaza Mayor and Park de les Restito easily AND find gems along the way.

Room was basic but the bed was comfy. There was no sound-proofing so it could be very loud in the mornings. Bathroom was nice. Breakfast was okay but I expected better. Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Location was good.

The hotel is a relatively long walk from the Atocha (30 minutes), and other stations (20 minutes). There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, however there is a very small (the smallest I have seen) wall mounted fridge that is totally for guest use. A single basic shampoo is provided that needed us to ask reception to replace when finished. Otherwise a selection of emergency disposable toiletries are provided upon arrival (tootbrush, razor, comb, etc.). Overall a comfortable base, would not go again due to the long walk, we like to stay at hotels closer to transport.

Nice & Clean

We had a lovely two-night stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was nice and clean. However, we felt it was originally a double room that had been converted to a ‘family’ room with an extra bed. The room was an okay size, but it could have been bigger for a family of three. The breakfast was nice and offered a good variety of food. The overall experience was good value for money.

Hotel is very good! Check in: all good Room: spacious, clean, a little fridge which helps a lot, amazing bath towels, comfortable beds, etc. Breakfast: very good, many options for a very good meal. We stayed only one night because of its proximity to Atocha train station. Basic hotel, rooms old but clean and beds comfortable, A/C was noisy and didn't cool well enough. Breakfast also basic. Staff nice.
