Here is my honest review, the location is perfect for getting to everything. However, the trade off is that the apt was extremely dirty. I am pretty sure the sheets were not changed from the previous renters and we could not get the showers to work without either only cold or only scalding hot water. There is also no couch, just a day bed. Personally I would find a different accommodation next time.

Location of property is excellent. Everything walking distance.. accommodation is a bit old, floor was dirty, could not walk without shoes or slops. Facilities in the accommodation is excellent. The sofa bed is not too comfortable but other beds in the room are. Will recommend to friends as the location is perfect.

Amazing and unique

This apartment is such a gem--steps from all the action in the old quarter of Madrid, yet completely modernized and quiet (except for Holy Week when we had the church parades at midnight, but that was a fantastic cultural experience). The kitchen is very well equipped with dishes and small applicances. Bathrooms were great (but could use some towel hooks). It took us a while to figure out the door and lock system, but it is not complicated. Only one minor glitch, the automatic check-in system did not send the code or instructions when expected, and we had to contact VRBO to get in touch with the owner. Once we made contact, he was very responsive. We appreciated not having to coordinate schedules to check in/out. All in all, a great stay!

Spacious. Mostly clean. Check in was good. It was very tough to turn on the radiator so we did not have have heat. Beds are not comfy. Owner is very nice.

Apartment was well kept and homely, prime location surrounded by essential shops as well as fun activities and monuments, only issue I had was having to use the physical key instead of digital one because of some issue, but was quickly resolved by the owner, overall I completely recommend this as a place to stay if you’re touring around Madrid.

Perfect location

This apartment is perfect for exploring the city. It’s located within walking distance of pretty much everything or is so close to bus stops and the metro if you would rather take public transport. Check in and out we’re very easy and the apartment is easy to find.

The best location in Madrid!

Everything was amazing about this property. The unit is centrally located, we parked the car in a garage 2 minutes away, then walked everywhere - didn’t need to drive anywhere. Clean unit, well equipped with everything we needed. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Had a 1 day stay over before flying out. Excellent location! Easy walking distance to main attractions and numerous restaurants. If you like biking, bike tour location is about 800 ft away.

Great location small place

We loved the location and the host was amazing and very accommodative and responsive. Thankfully every room had air conditioning, since it was so hot in Spain. The only issue we had was lack of closet space, if you are going with family for a few days. Would be nice to have some closets / storage space. Otherwise I would highly recommend this place.
