The hotel was clean. People were helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was fine. Sangria and beer were really good. We booked this hotel because of its shuttle from the hotel as we were using Madrid as a landing spot for a day between flights. After booking, the hotel emailed sending us the shuttle details. Unfortunately, the shuttle doesn’t run on the weekend in the middle of the day, so we had to take a 22 euro taxi. That is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. There is really nothing around this hotel if you were looking to stay here and walk to shops or other restaurants (besides what the hotel offers).

Where to begin? The shuttle was not available in the afternoon for arrival. It cost us 33 euros for a 5 minute cab ride. Spoke with the manager, got a free drink at the bar. Was told the shuttle to the airport in the morning was a “courtesy” and therefore was not guaranteed. What the…. The room lacked any charm at all. There wasn’t a bottle of water, no kettle for tea or coffee, nothing. The woman who was in charge of breakfast was rude. Over all never again would I stay there or any Ibis Hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND
