Great stay in Madrid.

The room was great. All the essentials. Easy check in. There is a little trick to pushing the door when getting in so it was tricky at first but the host was very helpful in trouble shooting. The pool is available but cold. The pool is shaded most of the time so what we thought would be a lot of fun wasn't. Neighborhood is perfect for a family. Train station, buses and restaurants were great.

Communication: You need to communicate with the property to confirm details and pre-check in but Expedia blocks their email address on messages and the Spanish mobile number didn't come up on our Whatsapp. Expedia messages weren't replied to on time. As a result we were not able to store our bags on arrival and had to do alternative plans that were otherwise not needed, adding extra work and spend we didn't want. Once we managed to get in touch with the property they were super helpful and really nice but just make sure you get all the details and contact prior to arrival. Property: The property was excellent. 2 adults and 2 children fit perfectly fine with the sofa bed and you can put the bed away if you want floor space. We moved the table to the balcony and we used the swimmingpool every morning and afternoon before going out to the city, a must in the summer. It was quiet at night and the access to and from the airport is super easy with lines 8 and 6 connecting. There is a supermarket metres away which makes everything very convenient and we had an amazing plato del dia meal in the restaurants nearby that was fantastic. Would totally recommend.

The room was not a good value for the money. There was a kitchen with items to prepare food but it would’ve have been nice to have paper towels. We paid for an extra person (our daughter) but they didn’t include towels for 3 persons. The walls could use some paint, as it had so many scratches. It was our fault for not realizing the places was smaller than the pictures made it appear.
