Room was immaculate. Bathroom-shower was ingeniously designed. Second day no floor towel was left for after shower, but cleaning service made up my bed and left the room tidy. Loved seeing the eco- room card which regulated the light. Lots of functioning tv channels!

We had to wait over 30 min because our room was not ready by the posted 3 pm check-in time. The room was clean but with minimal furniture: no drawers, no desk, no chair (just a small stool). The shower door doubles as a bathroom door, which means there is a puddle on the floor after one showers. However the location is convenient, some of the staff were very nice and helpful.

Staff is good, very attentive. However, room is way small, not even a decent desk or chair oriented for middle age, disabled, elderly people rather oriented to other guests who stay for shorter time. First floor is equiped with vending machines focused on selling you staff rather that providing free water when needed as a courtesy (bare minimum). It appears that's not this place business model. Not staying here again, only stayed because of closeness to Atoche train station.

There were restaurants in walking distance. The room is clean, I had a cute patio. My only complaint is the price. In Canadian dollars this was a very expensive stay, for just a basic room. You can find much better deals outside of Madrid.

A new clean hotel within 5 minute walk of Mendez Alfaro subway and C10 lines. Basic rooms, but everything one needs. Seems to cater to both tourists and business travellers. Excellent selection of restaurants - at the end of the street and across Av. Mendez Alfaro - mostly all-day.I'd stay there again if in Madrid.
