The hotel had great service. The staff was very nice and responded to my requests accurately and quickly. I went to Madrid for a conference and the hotel was very close to the venue. Mercadona was right next to the hotel, so overall, it was very convenient for me. I would stay there whenever I go back to Madrid.

Good stay close to university

Breakfast was impressive, and room ok. AC / heating was perhaps broken, keeping temp way too high. Shutting down that system and opening the window solved the problem. No sounds from other rooms, and plenty of room in the bathroom. Restaurant selection in the same block was great.

Desk service and maid service was very good. The hotel has access to taxis, city buses and underground just outside the front door. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent, although a little crowded at times. The room was small and had limited electrical outlets. The shower soap dispenser did not work well. The bed lacked a cover sheet or other light cover, just one heavy cover. The elevators were adequate, but sometimes rather slow. The wifi system had to be reinstated each time one used it.

Mucho ruido

La estancia hubiera sido perfecta si no fuera porque acústicamente las habitaciones no están suficientemente aisladas. Se escuchan las conversaciones de las habitaciones cercanas y los ruidos del mecanismo del ascensor como si estuviera en la misma habitación, en mi caso la 115, con una habitación entre el ascensor y la mía. Una lástima porque el resto roza la perfección pero sin descanso no hay hotel. Deberían hacer una buena inversión en ese sentido como sí se ve que hicieron en la envolvente del edificio ya que no hizo falta usar la calefacción con 6 grados en el exterior y ruidos desde la calle ninguno y me alojé en el primer piso.
