The location was centrally located and easy to get around. Front staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable. We had a private 4 bunk room. There was a sewer smell that was coming ftom the shower. Room was pretty clean but bathroom for toilet and shower had lots of dyat vuilt up on bsdeboards. Kitchen and common spaces were small. For younger travelers there activities planned that looked fun...pub crawals, tours, beer pong, bar hours on roof (pretty small space).

Fully stocked kitchen with group refrigerators is a plus. Rooftop patio is amazing. Plenty of people from all over. Great vibes. Beds were nice and comfortable cubbys. Storage under bed with a place for your own lock is great. They will hold your bags until check in or it you are checking out until you're ready. Very accommodating staff. Do them a favor and don't loiter outside late at night. It is a residential neighborhood and people definitely complain.

Exceptionally friendly staff and amazing location (walkable to all major attractions and a subway station a block away). I booked the 12 person female dorm and the sheets had some hair on it when I checked in, so I'm not sure if they were changed. The A/C in the room broke for two nights so we had to leave the windows open and it got super hot then chilly. There were two toilets and two shower stalls per floor per gender which felt a bit dirty, perhaps due to high traffic the weekend I stayed. I never had to wait to use those though. The toilet stalls were super tight, I could barely turn around. Free coffee and churros every morning and always a ton of activities to do! I think this is a great affordable option for a short stay.

Top notch hostel

For the standards of being hostel, this is a top-notch place. Comfortable and quiet, and lots of privacy. I was in a 12 bed female dorm and it was a nice stay. I luckily had the bed in front of the AC so it was comfortable, otherwise I would probably have thought it was hot. They had a communal kitchen that was well stocked with all types of appliances to make food as if it was a full kitchen.

Everything was fine except they don't have hot water, and it's very limited. You have to shower by pressing on the bottom, which is incredibly uncomfortable. Everything else was excellent, and the coffee and churros for breakfast were delicious! Todo bien excepto que no tienen agua caliente y muy limitada, te debes bañar presionando un bottom y eso es demasiado incómodo. Todo lo demás estuvo excelente y el café con churros para el desayuno delicioso!

Hi, the reception was great and the location is excellent. However, the room wasn’t properly cleaned—we even found clothes from the previous guest. The shower was also disappointing, as it takes a long time to warm up and you have to keep pressing the button. Overall, if you’re mainly looking for a convenient location, this place works.

Excellent hostel - would happily stay here again

Super helpful and friendly staff! From reception staff to cleaning staff - all great :) It really makes such a difference to the vibe of the place when the staff are awesome. Very clean - great showers and hot water. On a quiet street in an excellent location of Madrid. Close to everything but no outside noise. Two elevators, so no long waits. Roof terrace is cool. The room I was in and the common areas were spacious so it didnt feel cramped. I read the story about the background of the hostel and its founders and I admire the ethos behind it. Tonnes of activities organised and social events if you want to get involved. Lots of locker storage. Fast WiFi. Everything was perfect - would stay here again. Gracias!

My only negative was that there was that the lock was broken on the under bed bag storage, the team helped me to store my bags at reception. Bit of a stuff around but honestly I would book again. Staff were nice, elevators worked, in a good location.
