I checked In for my stay at this hotel. The clerk gave me room on the 1st floor. I went to the room i was given. To my surprise, there was a lady laying In the bed. She jumped up and said I'll be out of here In a few minutes. She actually thought she was going to leave the room and i was going to go in there. It was an extremely awkward moment. The worst part Is that obviously housekeeping NEVER checked the room. The lady and her boyfriend were supposed to leave the hotel at 11am. Then it had me thinking. Does housekeeping even check or clean rooms after the guests checkout??? When i was given another room, it was dirty. There was an alarm clock from the 80's on the nightstand, next to the bed. It was absolutely filthy. It had dirt and hair on the buttons. Bottom line, this hotel absolutely sucks!!! I DO NOT recommend anyone staying at this hotel. I wouldn't let my dog spend a night there.

After checking In, I went to the room. When i went Into the room, there was a lady laying In the bed. I couldn't believe it. She said she would be out of the room In a few minutes. I was very upset about this. I worked hard for 10 hours today. All i wanted was to take a shower & relax. I went back to the front desk & explained what happened. The lady who was working couldn't believe what happened. The lady In my room was supposed to leave at 11am. THEN, the clerk gave me a room on the 3rd floor. There's no elevator here. This has been a horrible experience for me.

Having previously stayed here multiple times before without issue, I was quite disappointed with this stay. Within just a few minutes I found feces on the shower curtain, the bathroom door had been kicked in and was now nearly snapped in half, as well as possible blood on the sheets of one bed. I spoke with the front desk and this particular employee was quick to help. She exchanged our room to at least a tolerable one with sticky carpet and a musty overall smell. The rest of the stay portion was uneventful. The worst portion was that it took two months and several promises over the phone to finally get the refund on the three nights that I had to cancel due to a change in my time off schedule. The change in dates was done within the free cancellation period prior to my stay. I was told verbally, by four different individuals, including the manager that it was taken care of. The first three times there was no refund issued.

What I didn't like about the hotel was the employees. They were rude especially the woman at the desk. When I came in to check in she came around the corner and said, yes... Yes what do you need? I said I have a reservation. She asked for my driver's license and a credit card to have on file for incidentals. I was nice and handed them to her. In return she basically threw them and tossed them on the counter. The room was ok. It wasn't exactly clean. Dried cheese crumbs on the carpet by the desk. No wash rags. The towels were damp and not dry. When picking up the floor towel to use when getting out of the shower there was used wash rags underneath. It was cheap place to stay and that's what I needed. You get what you paid for. Next time I will pay the extra .

Nothing Super about this hotel, that's for sure. It could be a good hotel as there have been some updates done in the lobby area. But as it is being operated now, one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. I kept my valuables locked in my car when I was not at the hotel. The best thing it has going for it is location and dirt cheap rooms (for a reason). There was a vibe that something was going on there at this particular hotel. You can just walk in to the lobby day or night as there are no working locks on the front doors. Staff was frequently outside or in a back room not visible to guests. The building, including our room, had a smell that was trying to cover up something so we had to open the window. Non smoking hotel allegedly but there was a faint smell of marijuana and cig smoke through the building. In the 4 days I stayed there my room was never serviced. I also had to go to the front desk for a bar of soap as none was provided in the room. A couple people on staff were very nice like one of the front desk people and a building maintenance guy, but most of the staff seemed bothered to do their jobs particularly the front desk where they seemed inconvenienced if you needed something. At least try to be a decent hotel. There is no reason this Super 8 couldn't be a charming budget hotel with the right management and staff in place.

Do not stay at this property

There were no lock cylinders on either entry door to the lobby. On the side entrance we were greated by a vagrant that told us the side doors didnt lock either and you could go in when & where ever you liked. The room appeared clean- but the carpeting had a damp feel and there was no bar soap left for washing hands. We both use cpap macines and there were no outlets within 10' on one side of the bed to plug in a cpap or a cell phone. The over all stay was nothing short of awful and can not understand how this could be a property associated with Wnydham Hotels. The property and ownership should be banned from Wnydham association
