Beautiful hotel with a great staff & lots of amenities. Hotel is a few blocks from the most crowded part of the main strip. Far enough away to be more peaceful & close enough to get to all the shops in just a few minutes. Pool & hot tub are really nice & so are the restaurants within the hotel.

Really enjoyed this property and location. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Bicycle rental on property was convenient too. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The breakfast at 1852 Grill Room was amazing and what a view! I will definitely look to stay here again! The ferry drop of our luggage directly to the hotel was an extra perk.

The Island House Hotel was very nice, clean, conveniently located. We also enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea at the 1852 restaurant and had a good pizza at the Ice House in back. The room we had wasn't large but the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner didn't work too well but overall we had a great stay on the island.

The two queen bed room with the water view was big for 3 of us. However, it was very noisy starting 6 AM with people walking amd talking loud in the hallway. Also, the elevator was not working for two days. They gave us $30 gift card which was nice. Get a room on 4th floor.

View was beautiful from our room and from the porch or lawn. Room could have had a comfortable chair with arms to sit in for the price we paid. Only place to sit was a straight chair or on the bed. There should be a towel ring by the sink to hang a hand towel on. The restaurant was very nice and we enjoyed the service there as well as the piano music and food at dinner. You're obviously paying for the location because the room was small and nothing special.
