Uncomfortable experience

The place is really nice and clean. However, the unfortunate thing happened beyond their control. There was a black out in the district and the hotel have no generator. Weekend in one night and arrived at 4pm. The black out occurred from 8pm to past our check out time which checked out at 3:30am as we have to catch a bus to Machu Picchu. It was a very uncomfortable experience that should have at least had a remedy or other special accommodations or some compensations for the guests.

Great rooms, with great views, very spacious, staff could use a little help, at one point there was a 10 year old child sitting in the front desk with YouTube at high volume! Breakfast was good with a nice array of breads and fruits, coffee was amazing, seating is a little tough though, overall a great little hotel just steps from the train station

Convenient hotel near the train station

Convenient hotel to the train station. We had a quiet room and the room was clean and comfortable. The only problem was the hot water took a very long time to come out of the shower. I shared with the front desk and hey came to look / then it didn’t take so long but I still had the same problem after. The cleaning staff were in a hurry the last day / had to ask for towels and return a bottle of cleaner as well as get a roll of toilet paper.

Don't ask front desk staff for ANY info about Machu Picchu, they won't know anything. Room was ok, nice bathroom, Aguas Calientes is a small town, easy to navigate

Unbelievably Quiet for Being Above the Train

I worried I wouldn't be able to sleep due to train noise. The hotel assured me it was a quiet room. It actually was very quiet! The location, the comort, and the room with a balcony made this place a winner. The breakfast was not our favorite. Eggs were good if there was any available. The papaya and cucumbers were fresh and yummy, so there were some options one could find, but avoid the rubber-like toast! All said, we'd go back to this hotel.

The location close to train station is very convenient, and noise was never a problem. Breakfast was not available for earlist departures to Machu Picchu. Bed was comfortable and shower good. Air conditioner/humidity had to be drained by staff at one point
