Very pet friendly, most guests seemed to have dogs. Ideal direct access to heath immediately opposite hotel for dog exercise. Friendly and helpful staff always available.

Ideal location for the town and the New forest. Just a walk across the road and you are in the New forest. Lots of parking available. Staff were lovely and friendly. There is a bus stop right outside in case you do not drive or wish not to drive. We did have breakfast and dinner, both of which were very good. Caters for breakfast and dinner and has a bar. Room was clean, had everything that you needed. This hotel allows dogs. There was no smell of dogs throughout the building and not one dog hair to show. I myself have dogs ,they did not come with us this time but maybe in the future. As a dog owner I do not like the smell of dog. So compliments to housekeeping and to the dog owners. I arrived in may, I could not believe that I slept under a 4.5 duvet which was nice and warm. I would recommend this hotel .Its great value for money ,great location.

Great hotel

We stayed with our dog for the night and it was wonderful. The room was a very nice size, very clean and the staff were very accommodating. Food in the restaurant was lovely and the hotel is in an ideal location.
