Ignore first brown door and go to next one to open access to Chateau. Breakfast is excellent and staff are very friendly. Rooms are spacious and quality of furnishings in chateau is outstanding

Very beautiful, comfortable, castle hotel, more like a high-end B&B, spacious and luxurious. Located in a small town surrounded by vineyards. The owner is very enthusiastic and thoughtful. I hope to have the opportunity to come again.

We got to the chateau late in the afternoon. When we arrived Jeremy was very amicable and helped us with our luggage and explanation on how to enter the chateau. Emmanuelle gave us some very good restaurant suggestions near by to the chateau. It was such a great and unique experience spending the night at the chateau. We were given the Master room with the adjoining room for our son to sleep in. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great! We got to walk the grounds for an evening stroll. The next day, breakfast was excellent. Felt like royalty for a day!

Property was unique and just what we were looking for - a quiet and secluded location after a grueling flight from the USA. One needs the comfort and quiet in order to try to recover some lost sleep/jet lag. The chateau offers the additional benefit of producing some amazing wines at very reasonable prices. My son, the connoisseur, approved of Chateau Lussac 2016.

Overall, our stay was pleasant, but there were some disappointing aspects. The room was comfortable, clean, and the breakfast was good. The highlight of our stay was definitely the swimming pool. During our visit, temperatures reached nearly 40°C, and being able to cool off in the pool made a huge difference and was greatly appreciated. However, we found the staff to be rather unfriendly and not particularly welcoming. After showing us our room upon arrival, we had virtually no interaction with anyone until check-out. We were also disappointed that we were never allowed to enter the château itself. One of the reasons we chose this property was the opportunity to experience the château, but unfortunately we could not visit the interior or take any memorable photos inside. While the facilities were enjoyable, especially the pool, the lack of hospitality and access to the château left us with mixed feelings about the experience.

Unterbringung war zwar im Nebengebäude, dafür Frühstück im Hauptgebäude. Hübsch renoviert. Hatten Küche/ Gemeinschaftsraum dazu. Weingut gehört zum Chateau, Möglichkeit der Besichtigung während der Weinlese wurde ermöglicht, auch Wein zu bestellen und liefern zu lassen - sehr professionell!

Nice Room

We loved the room, nice and big but could have used a dresser as we stayed three days. Do be prepared that there are no local restaurants, have to drive a short bit. While breakfast was continental, itvwascalways thwcsame for the most part. A little difficult to find. The grounds were great.

Supertrevligt ställe! Avskilt, lugnt och skönt! Rummet var jättefint! Poolen fin men brädorna bör behandlas då min partner fick en rejäl sticka! Passar för par, väldigt romantiskt. Inte så mycket i närområdet, men vi hade bil. Enda minus måste vara att man inge kunde gå in i själva "slottet" men går säkert om man bokar i förväg tillsammans med deras vinprovning :) Skulle gärna komma tillbaka

Highly recommended

Château de Lussac was simply fantastic. The room was comfy, the service outstanding, the location convenient for exploring local Bordeaux vineyards/wineries, their wine was tasty, and the whole experience impeccable. The room was large, clean, and felt homey. The grounds were large and allowed for nice sunset walks through the local vineyards. Breakfast was personally prepared by Laura to your own liking. I would highly recommend Château de Lussac; a wonderful experience and overall great value.

Il s'agit d'une chambre d'hôtes or les hôtes ne sont pas présents (le personnel est très bien). Le petit déjeuner n'est donc pas fait maison. Les chambres situées à proximité de la porte d'entrée ont l'inconvénient du bruit des allées et venues

Amazing place and staff. The room and the whole chateau is beautifully decorated and enormous. There are all kind of amenities in the room.You can park your car inside the property and it is less than 10 min by car to Saint Emillion.

We choose this hotel, because its high rating and for its stylish deco and its convenient location in the Bordeaux St´. Emmille. After we made our reservation, the hotel owner rang me up to check when we would arrive as he wanted to insure that we could be met by the staff on our arrival during the weekend. We were warmly welcomed. The hotel is in an excellent estate, and our bedroom was first class. It was very large and was very stylishly decorated. We also enjoyed sitting and walking in the huge and well maintained private garden. The hotel had also a tennis court and a swimming pool (but not sure if guests could use them). The hotel does not provide dinning service. The breakfast time between 8 and 9 felt a little restricted. Apart from these aspects, we truly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely stay again in it when we visit the Bordeaux region.
