Ivy Cove is situated within the Soundings neighborhood, a family-oriented community exclusively tailored for boating enthusiasts. The tranquil waters of Mill Creek, renowned for its exceptional natural/safe harbor, offer access to Chesapeake Bay. Within a mere ten-minute boat ride, residents can access the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay. However, from the vantage point of Mill Creek, the surrounding waters evoke the serene ambiance of a picturesque Northern Lake, nestled amidst the verdant pine forests.

A newly renovated waterfront cottage with a warm charming appeal capture the unique features of this 1965 home. Take in the beautiful view of Brooks Cove, an inlet off of Mill Creek, from the large wrap around porch while enjoying the morning sunrise. Spend your afternoons paddling around the creek inlets and the evenings relaxing by the fire pit watching the bald eagles sore over the cove. Or take a short ride to beautiful Solomon’s Island. For breath-taking sunsets visit Solomon’s Pier, or take a stroll down the boardwalk to Cone Island.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ivy Cove. The house was clean and updated. We enjoyed going back in time with the vintage arcade games. The setting is beautiful and even at the end of November we found a nice day to go kayaking on the river.

Such a nice home on the water at Mill Creek. Our group enjoyed crabbing on the dock and relaxing on the covered porch. House is very comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood and is close to Calvert Cliffs and Solomons Island. The owner KJ lives close by if you need anything. Would definitely recommend. Ivy Cove is a beautiful house and was the perfect escape for my family of four during Spring Break. The location is private and quiet but still very close to grocery stores and shopping. There was also plenty of firewood to enjoy a cozy outside fire in the pit.
