Graves mountain lodges is cozy, down to earth and has plenty to do. An area rich in history and natural beauty with none of the commercialization of typical resorts. We loved our cabin stay at wild wind - a refurbished old school house along the river. Very peaceful and had everything you could need. Great location close to Shenandoah and Rapidan River. There are plenty of activities and we loved the farm animals and the ability to hike around the grounds. The only critique would be that the bathroom heater didnt work so it was quite cold in that room. Food is a bit pricey for what you get but we liked the dedication to sourcing locally. We would definitely reccomend and would go back!

The room was not clean and smelled moldy. The ceiling had multiple stains and splatter throughout. The baseboards were filthy as was the tub fixtures. There was duct tape holding down the carpet at the entrance to the room. The best thing was the view, breakfast and festival.

First time visiting and will be back. Staff was friendly, and welcoming. Food was delicious. The night we stayed they had a blue grass band playing. Lot of things to do here! There's a great winery/brewery down the road, called Blue Quartz. Food and Music were great there too!

At first, I wasn't so sure. But the staff were amazing, our accommodation was fine but lacked a dresser - we only had 1 night stand and 1 chair. Although, we made our way. The food was excellent and the selection at the buffet gave lots of healthy choices and the chef was so helpful on the gluten free options! We are looking forward to going back and taking more advantage of the activities including horse back riding and hiking! they even had yoga classes and other fun activities.

The lodge is charming and has beautiful views. Our old farmhouse suite 2 AC wasn’t working, and their maintenance team tried their best to fix it. As they weren’t able to, they installed a window unit for us. We would come back here!

Bucolic hidden gem near hiking, and a pool!

Wonderful lowkey, rustic lodge. Everything you need to relax and get away from it all. Wonderful food, apple and peach wine, made on the farm was delectable. The buffet dinners were 5 star i thought. Balcony off room and a rocking chair every morning and night was a wonderful place to drink my coffee.
