The house is beautiful and comfortable. The view is tranquil across Maumee Bay. Hreat bird watching - we saw Bald Eagles several days.If you are planning on doing your own cooking, bring measuring spoons and cups. Check with the property manager about thr range. It is a beautiful convection range, but you may eant guidance on what pots to use.Spacious and light is an understatement. It's extremely relaxing and comfortable.

Positives: Location. Space - 4 bedrooms, 3 baths. Outdoor seating area - great sunrise. Internet/Wifi. Water pressure. The sunrise was spectacular. Less that one hour drive to the DTW airport, fishing charter, a little longer to Ann Arbor. Negatives: Needs some TLC. The gardens are overgrown and full of spiders. Not fun running through spiderwebs every day. The place could use a good gardner, a powerwash and debugging inside and out. Random assortment of pots and pans. Some were not convection compatible.With a little clean up, we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Location, But Needs Better Attention to Detail

We recently stayed at this property and overall I’d rate it 3 stars. The views of the lake from the back were absolutely lovely, and the area was peaceful and quiet—perfect for relaxing. The locals who live there full time were lovely and pleasant to talk to, and communication with the property manager was excellent.That said, there were several details that made the stay less enjoyable. Upon arrival, the cleanliness was lacking. It felt more like a quick spot clean than a thorough one. The coffee pot looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time, and the master bathroom’s shower curtain was moldy and in need of replacement. The furniture felt cheap, the beds were uncomfortable, and some fans in certain rooms weren’t working.We also planned to use the grill, but there was no propane. I had to purchase a new tank myself (though they did reimburse me). Given the quality and price of the property, I would expect basics like this to be ready and checked beforehand.While our stay itself was nice and the surroundings were beautiful, these overlooked details added up. If the property had better cleanliness, working amenities, and more comfortable furnishings, it could easily be a five-star experience.

Cobwebs and bugs all over No can opener that we could find No dish drainer that we could find No sink stopper for garbage disposal side Curtains for downstairs room would be nice for privacy Upstairs bedroom with 2 beds the bed frame is broke (the slats need slipped back in correctly) Dryer had standing water in it? Master bedroom door handle fell off on inside Front floor very slick… maybe bigger floor mat, bath mats in bathroom? Hair in bathroom floor and found in kitchen in clean dishes. A contact found by lamp in master. There didn’t seem l be enough towels or any extra that we could find.Over all our stay was very nice. It met our needs and we had plenty of room. Our kids got to sleep in big kid beds for the first time. These are just suggestions for the owners to improve.

Luna Pier Lake House

The house is large and accommodated the 6 of us easily with several areas for family and friends to gather. Outside area is wonderful, it was rainy and cold during our March visit, but it was still beautiful and refreshing. Kitchen had everything we needed, parking was available, area is beautiful. A wonderful place.

One person in our party thought they would be helpful and threw away 2 bags of personal items they thought were trash. I contacted T and she was amazing! She went and got it out of the trash and is mailing it to me! God send! Views were beautiful even in the cold we could see from inside the beautiful views!

Slice of peace and paradise

If youre looking for a quiet place to escape and rejuvenate the soul, this is it. This modern lakehouse is located on the western shore of Lake Erie in the bay with amazing lake views to the East. There is modern deck that goes up to the sea wall so you have clear views for miles of the lake. The house is in Luna Pier, just over the Michigan border past Toledo and because of this, there is no shortage of activities in the area with Toledo 20 minutes to the south, Detroit an hour to the north and Ann Arbor an hour northwest. We have gone 4 years in a row and are still doing new things every year. The home is a new build with open floor plan with many windows letting in light and looking back out on to the lake. The modern kitchen allows you to prepare any meal you like, but with both Toledo and Monroe just 20 minutes away, there are no shortage of good restaurants to visit either. If you want a hidden gem, this is it.

Views to die for

It was a lovely home setttled right on the lake. The views were beautiful. Very spacious with everything you could need in a vacation stay. There were a few little things Id recommended fixing up the dinning room chairs had one or two that needs repairs. There were a bunch of cobwebs hanging around and one of the ceiling fans sounded crazy. Nothing a duster and screw driver couldn't fix. Over all I would stay again.

Great house on the lake

We are a family of 5 gathering to enjoy and celebrate one of our daughter’s bday away from our routine The house is very comfortable, well located we played games outside and on the deck by the lake . Overall is a very convenient place to stay is quiet, good internet, we went to do Kayli gnome day 20 min away. We did enjoyed and definitely would return. Spacious with a great view

The house was large, old-fashioned, and beautiful with a fantastic view. It was clean and quiet. It did need some TLC in some areas and it was lacking in some basic items (such as enough towels). However, we were able to work around most things that were missing and had a very nice time.
