The Neighborhood:

It is settled by the coastal town of Booral and is just a 20-minute drive from Hervey Bay. A stay that offers convenience to coastal splendors. The region, known for its natural landscapes, sits near Fraser Island's rugged beauty and the historic Urangan Pier, inviting opportunities for deep-sea adventures and leisurely strolls by the water.

Our local recommendations:

- The Reef World Aquarium in Urangan has been a notable tourist site since 1979. This unique, all-natural aquarium, one of the few globally, uses sand-filtered seawater and natural sunlight.

- Urangan Pier is one of Australia's longest piers stretching nearly a kilometer into the ocean. Offering panoramic views, excellent fishing, and vibrant local dining and shopping, it's a hub for diverse activities including windsurfing and kite surfing.

- Lake McKenzie is a top destination for its stunning beauty. This perched lake, filled exclusively with rainwater, showcases pure white silica sand and crystal-clear water that supports minimal life. Its colors are mesmerizing, especially at dawn. The area includes excellent facilities for hikers.

Food Scene:

- Enzo’s on the Beach is where you can overlook the beautiful coast of Hervey Bay and enjoy delicious food and cocktails on a high table or relax on bean bags and day beds in the sand.

- Hervey Bay RSL is a major entertainment hub on the Fraser Coast. It features diverse amenities like restaurants, bars, a children's fun center, gaming machines, and a kids' club for those aged 3 and up, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
