The "Clocktower Chalet" on Okemo Mountain, is the consummate Vermont ski chalet, located a short walk from the base lodge of Okemo Mountain in Ludlow, Vermont. With beds to sleep 11, this home is on a private wooded lot with views of the Okemo ski resort and is a spacious 2,000 square foot home with 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and two large family rooms. With an open-concept living room, dining room and kitchen, the home has a wood stove, wireless internet, an outdoor fire pit, and a large hot tub on a beautiful private rear deck.

Location is everything for the "Clocktower Chalet" - we are just 500 yards from the Okemo Mountain base lodge and 1 mile from downtown Ludlow. For skiers, take a short walk down to the base lodge OR hop on the shuttle! We are directly on the Okemo shuttle route - you can be picked up right at the end of the driveway on peak weekends/holidays. No hassles or packing up the car to drive to the ski resort. With a great location and a beautiful home with all of the amenities, this is the perfect home for your weekend or week-long rental!

About the Home:

On the main floor there is a full bathroom, a large master bedroom with a king bed, and a "Great Room" consisting of the kitchen, dining and living rooms. This open-concept room has cathedral ceilings, solid hickory wood flooring, a wood stove, wonderful natural light and beautiful furnishings. The fully-appointed kitchen has granite countertops with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and disposal, with essential cooking and kitchen accessories such as a coffee pot, toaster, crockpot, blender, and requisite kitchenware provided.

On the lower level of the home there are two additional bedrooms, one set up as a "bunk room" with three twin beds and the other with a queen bed. This level also offers a full bathroom with washer and dryer, a family room for an additional living space, and a beautiful mudroom to store all of your ski and boarding equipment.

Finally, the home offers a third living level, open to the family room below - the "loft." The loft space also features a fourth bedroom, closed off from the space below, with four twin beds. This is a great kids' room, as they love sleeping in the loft!

The Okemo House is absolutely wonderful. The hot tub was perfect after a day on the hill. The shuttle stops right outside and was such an easy way to get to Clocktower (it would be easy to walk too, but the shuttle works great with kids and gear). We had everything we needed. Great setup for a big group. We comfortably had nine. Room for 4 cars in the driveway. Nice hot tub and plenty of space to hang out and eat. Technically could walk to the mountain but such a quick drive to get to the lot early! Great fireplace to keep the house warm too! Would return.

Everyone had a wonderful week ranging from ages 13-78! Lots to do for all. Hiking, exploring, and relaxing and enjoying Ludlow. House was clean, in a perfect location and had everything we needed. Owners were very nice and had good communication. Maybe we’ll be back in the winter to ski!

Another great MLK weekend at Clocktower Chalet

This is the second year in a row staying at Clocktower Chalet. It's the perfect for our group of two families - 4 adults and 5 teenagers. The shuttle bus is so convenient getting to and from the mountain, or it's a 5min walk from the house. The hot tub is amazing after a long day of skiing. The common spaces and big dining table are great for group. We'll be back again next year!

Took my husband and friends for his 40th birthday. Close to Okemo activities, went mountain biking, disc golfing and went to Buttermilk Falls. Loved the location and the hot tub at night was amazing! Would love to go back.

Loved the Clocktower Chalet!

This home was perfect for our two families for an MLK weekend ski trip. The hot tub was amazing at the end of the day, and the large kitchen table and family room were perfect for meals and hanging out in the evenings. The mudroom was very spacious and allowed everyone to get ready to get on the slopes simultaneously each morning. We took the shuttle from the end of the driveway to the Clocktower basin which was very convenient!

Super spot for our Family Ski Weekend

This cozy home is attractively Decorated and flooded with natural light throughout the day. Loved cooking family dinners and feeling connected to everyone in the open space floor plan. The kids loved having a separate space with a huge selection of board games and movies while we shared cocktails before the Fire. You will love hoping into the large outdoor Hot Tub after a day on the slopes. The convenience of a 5 minute Shuttle at the foot of the driveway was perfect.
