The main living areas include two living rooms, providing flexible spaces for spending time together or unwinding after a day outdoors.



An in-law suite adds extra flexibility, with its own full kitchen and living room. This separate living area is especially convenient for extended families or groups who appreciate having a little more room to themselves.



The Carriage House sits on a shared property with a separate Lodge, which may also be rented for larger gatherings. When booking this listing, guests have access to the Carriage House only.



With five bedrooms and four bathrooms, the home accommodates up to 10 guests and offers a comfortable setting for family vacations, group ski trips, and year-round escapes in Vermont.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the Carriage House. The property is shared with a separate Lodge that may be rented independently or together with the Carriage House. Entry is provided via smart lock for convenient self check-in.



The Neighborhood:

Located on the hillside above Ludlow, the Carriage House offers a peaceful setting just a short drive from downtown dining and shopping. Okemo Mountain is approximately 4 minutes away, making it easy to head out for a day on the slopes during ski season.



Whether you're visiting for skiing, exploring the Green Mountains, or enjoying a getaway with family and friends, this location offers a convenient base for experiencing the area throughout the year.



Getting Around:

Car is necessary. Because of the incline of the driveway, a car with 4WD or AWD is highly recommended and necessary during the winter months.



Other Things to Note:

Wildlife: This is a home in a rural part of the country. You may see wildlife including deer, coyotes, foxes, and bears. Please be mindful of your surroundings and leaving out food and trash.



Weather: In the winter, there will be snow, ice, and occasional snowstorms. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please drive with caution and be prepared with regards to the ability of your vehicle to drive in the snow.



Power & Internet: This is a rural part of the country. You may lose power or internet during inclement weather. We do not issue refunds for loss of power or internet out of our control.



Air conditioning: There's a total of 6 units. There’s one AC unit in each of the five bedrooms and one in the kitchen. AC availability is seasonal and depending on weather (late spring and summer). Heating is also seasonal, and depending on weather, available during the cold seasons (autumn-winter).



Swimming Pool: The pool opens after Memorial Day weekend and closes October 31st. We recommend contacting us prior to booking to confirm the pool's availability during your stay.



Pets: We’re happy to welcome your pup to the home. There’s a $150 fee + tax for the first dog and $50 + tax for each additional one. If you’re planning to bring more than one, please reach out to us before completing your booking so we can get everything set up for you. For everyone’s comfort, we kindly ask that dogs stay leashed outdoors and that you clean up after them. Please note that cats aren’t permitted due to allergy concerns. Any pet-related damages may result in additional charges.



Maximum occupancy: Please mind that this house can host a maximum of 10 guests per fire code. As per the fire department, infants are included in that number. Therefore, any infants included in the booking above maximum occupancy of 10 would unfortunately result in the reservation being cancelled.



Cancellation Policy: We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy. Please consider traveler’s insurance.
