First of all the place is beautiful, easy to get to, and the house is awesome! The house has great features. They have thought of everything. I took my family to northern Italy for a 10 day vacation and this was my favorite VRBO. The owner was great. He was so helpful. He gave us directions to the best restaurant in the area. Actually it was my favorite in all of Italy. I wanted to stay more at this location, but we had an aggressive schedule. When I go back to Italy I want to stay here. I give this place a 10+.

A five star place in beautiful wine country

What a joy to stay here. Michela was so responsive and we truly enjoyed our evenings on the patio with Tuko their sweet dog. There was nothing they have not thought of. It was a welcome break during our 2 week whirlwind trip. It was close to all the most amazing wineries and the some of the best pizza we had in Italy while in Sinalunga.

Amazing Tuscan holiday!

The property was perfect, and only a 30-40 minute or less drive to so many beautiful Tuscan towns. Michela was the perfect host and always had great dinner recommendations. I would definitely stay here again if I get the opportunity to come back to Tuscany!

Perfect location, home and host

We enjoyed every moment of our stay with Michela and Alex. The home is well appointed with attention given to all the details! The home is unique in that it is located just at the base of the hill from San Lucignano in a small village. The property has a small vineyard, olive grove, orchard, produce garden, chickens and pond. It's like being in the country but very close to all the area has to offer. The town of San Lucignano is wonderful and worth several visits and great meals. The hosts are exceptional. They've created and wonderfully relaxed environment for their guests. Thank you for everything, Michela and Alex!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus von Michela und ihrer Familie sehr genossen und können sie nur weiterempfehlen. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen nett und diskret und sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste besorgt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich mit selbst gebackenem Kuchen empfangen und fanden das Haus und das Grundstück sehr gepflegt vor. Das Haus ist von der Familie selbst liebevoll renoviert worden und bietet alles, was man sich für einen erholsamen Urlaub wünscht - mit einigen handgearbeiteten Einrichtungsgegenständen, die dem Ganzen eine spezielle und persönliche Note verleihen. Besonders angenehm empfanden wir das natürlich kühle Raumklima des Hauses, während dieses heißen Sommers, die Moskitonetze an den Fenstern, die bequemen Betten, die große Tafel im Wohnzimmer und natürlich das Jacuzzi. :) Auf dem Grundstück gleich neben dem Haus der Familie haben wir uns auch dank des lieben Wachhundes immer sehr sicher gefühlt. Wir bekamen tolle Tipps fürs Sightseeing und mein Mann eine leckere Mahlzeit, als er einmal aus gesundheitlichen Gründen allein im Haus blieb, während wir unterwegs waren. Wir sind der Gastfamilie von Herzen dankbar für diese einzigartige Erfahrung und können dieses Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen.

Amazing holidays in Casale di Lucullo!

Me and my family had the pleasure of staying in Michaela's house for a little more than a week and needless to say it was truly wonderful. Aside from the great location (about a 2-minute drive from Lucigniano), this house provided us with breathtaking views from the terrace and a wide range of closeby attractions. The building it self was very clean and fully equipped. The host Michaela was so kind and ready to answer all of our questions about Tuscany. To sum up - don’t hesitate! Just book a stay and be ready for a time full of „Dolce Vita”!

Liebevoll hergerichtetes Ferienhaus mit Hund und Klavier...

Beschreibung des Hauses ist unvollständig, da auch ein Klavier zur Einrichtung zählt - sehr zur Freude unseres ältesten Sohnes, der jeden Tag daran spielte. Beide Söhne waren begeistert von Tuco, dem Hund der Gastgeber, der nicht nur Wachhund und Spielkamerad war, sondern uns auch bei der täglichen Rückkehr von unseren Ausflügen gerne zeigte, wo wir unser Auto abstellen durften. Von Terasse und Garten gibt es einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die (süd-)toskanische Landschaft. Alles in allem ein ausgesprochen angenehmer Aufenthalt - was auch der angenehmen Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter geschuldet ist, die auch das (von uns nicht genutzte) Angebot der Brotbelieferung beinhaltete - vielen Dank dafür, dass wir hier unseren Urlaub verbringen konnten!

Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge

Ein schönes Ferienhaus mit einem aussergewöhnlichen Ambiente nahe des kleinen Ortes Lucignano. Der Standort ist ideal für Fahrten in die wunderschöne toskanische Landschaft und die Städt Arrezzo, Siena, Montepulciano u.a. oder in die Chianti-Gegend. Die sympathische Vermieterin des Hauses wohnt auf demselben Grundstück und steht für Rat und Tat jederzeit zur Verfügung. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und geradezu verwöhnt und fühlten uns sehr wohl! Dank des eingezäunten Grundstücks und des freundlichen Hundes der Gastgeber fühlten wir uns absolut sicher.

Die wirklich herzlichen Vermieter wohnen gleich nebenan und stehen gern mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Autobahn ist zwar (je nach Windverhältnis) hörbar, aber darüber sollen sich auch nur diejenigen beklagen, die sie nicht selbst benutzt haben. The really cordial landlords live right next door and are happy to help with words and deeds. The house is very well maintained and tastefully decorated. The highway is audible (depending on wind conditions), but only those who have not used it themselves should complain about it.
