Considering where I was (Lucedale MS) Kinda off of the beaten path. I felt I was overcharged though Expedia. The room was upgraded My complaint with Expedia was this motel had no lamps just ceiling lights No coffee pot No continental breakfast. Positive-CLEAN BEDROOM AND BATH NICE KING SIZE BED. SAFE NO DRUG OR ALCOHOL TRAFFIC. OWNER ON SIGHT. VERY QUIET.

Horrible!! The room was filthy, roaches crawled out of the A/C when I turned it on - it was about 90 degrees in the room. Roaches crawled on the walls & dead ones all over the floor. Spider webs !! I am NOT making this up! We did not stay! They quickly refunded my money.! Almost like they expected us to not stay!? Why would they rent a room like that? $95.00

The room was re-done but the cleaning was not done well. Maybe they need a better maid service. Bathtub had rings and could have easily been cleaned. Cobwebs behind doors. Walls need to be re-painted or cleaned up. The floors have new vinyl and was very nice not to have carpet. The AC unit got the room cold quickly. The new sink was nice. The beds were adequate. Not especially soft, but that is probably just preference. The price of the room was very fair. Basically my suggestion is to get new cleaning company or train them better and inspect your rooms. The place could be a really cute motel. Possibly add some artwork to the walls. Our room had nothing on it. Hope this helps.

The room was clean. The staff was nice enough. But the cleaning staff came in our room while we were gone and stole a dollar item from our room. So I wouldn't stay there again because, what if I would've left my medication in there. Thanks
