Lovely apartment in a great position (less than 15 mins gentle walk to train station and start of city walls. The apartment is really well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and a lovely terrace in a quiet residential road, There is a huge supermarket less than 10 mins away that sells absolutely everything and the prices are very reasonable. Once inside the city wall there are ample restaurants, bars and shops with something for everyone. Monica was a fantastic host and was there to meet us and when we were leaving and provided with lost of information about the facilities and Lucca. The room was exceptionally hot and although 2 fans were available, it didn't get the temperature down enough, so believe a portable air con unit would be greatly beneficial. The only other minor room for improvement would be to supply at least a few pods for the coffee maker, if only to show which ones to purchase if required. Overall a wonderful stay in a beautiful city and we will be back.
