Room took a while to cool down, but eventually because comfortable. Otherwise, the bar staff over served an already inebriated man, and hotel management allowed him to run rampant around the courtyard and room decks. He finally settled down but police were never called and we felt unsafe getting to our rooms.

They charged us $30 to check in less than 1 hour before the official check in time of 3:00 PM although the room was obviously ready. Had some issues with the hot water as, according the maintenance guy, our room was at the end of the run for the hot water boiler. Overall, the property was OK and the grounds were attractive.

Best hotel in Lubbock. Very convenient and has character. Only things to add that would make it perfect are microwaves in rooms and a hot tub. Not crazy about bathroom barn doors, but it seems to be the trend.
