Disliked: Cleanliness
- Electricity kept jumping and had to press green button on fuse box to start again
- extractor fan broken,
- dish washer broken/clogged
- TV not working/remote inoperative
- AC kept blowing out actual dirt from filters not being cleaned. Probably ever.
- handles missing from bathroom taps
- bedside lamps have UK plugs for Portuguese sockets? Don't quite understand why
- made us pay cash only for sunbeds and tourist tax with the ATM machine on site charging a few of €5.95 for each withdrawal
- struggle to find place on Google maps
- didn't reply to message sent the day before about late check-in so had to figure it out ourselves when we got there
- shower floor is extremely slippery, avoided a hip replacement by miracle
- Pool was ok. Some lose tiles could be fixed. Some dead bugs all over the water could be sorted with more attentive maintenance. Access to the restaurant/bar could be improved by telling or preventing other guests (less attentive of others and their surroundings) to not lay on the floor of the pool as it made it awkward.
- Sue from the restaurant was very nice and attentive and made dining experience great. The food was nice too and the space was great
- Lady from reception during opening hours was also friendly and easy to deal with despite the cash fee for the tourist tax
- the design of the place is great and it goes capture a very nice Portuguese old town. The idea and feel of the place while walking in its streets is fabulous.
