Free breakfast was good. Location was good- the only setback was that i called in the afternoon of the day of check-in to let hotel know that we will not be able to check in till the next day at 0700 am- i was told that was fine and our reservation is still on! When we arrived at 7am the next day on a snow day, we were told our reservation was cancelled and that we have to book another registration. We informed front desk that I called yesterday to let hotel know. At first the lady in the front desk said she did not know who i spoke to. When I was getting upset, she was able to fix the reservation without us having to pay another reservation.
Another thing is when i sent an email through expedia about late check in specifying that we are health workers working on snow day,email responded with - hotel can give us "1pm" but the front desk was only able to give us 12 noon!
Also the hotel in front (hamptons) had their entrance driveway plowed and cleaned of snow but fairfield still has thick snow in front of the entrance of the hotel- good thing they have covered parking also because it was hard to drive enterring the hotel.
