This place has 5-star potential, but needs some work to achieve it.I’ll preface by saying we were a bachelor party and pretty easygoing, so we chose to roll with the punches more than contacting the host to rectify issues during our stay. Nonetheless, there were some issues:- WiFi didn’t work, needed to be repartitioned by ISP. Fixable by a phone call to AT&T.- the unit is actually two units with a connecting door. The upstairs unit did not have hot water in the shower- host provided only 1-ply toilet paper, it was like sandpaper- lots of the furniture was cheap/particleboard- unit is located down the street from a pig processing facility, there were times when being outdoors was smelly—but it was not the whole time, and there’s not much the host can do about it- limited towels- dishwasher was leaky- toilets felt like low pressureNow, the good:- beds were comfortable- location is fantastic. Plenty of food, shops, thinks to do within 0.5-1 mile walk- unit was clean- access was easy and host was communicative/responsive- outdoor area was greatWe’d absolutely stay here again, but would love to see some of the minor things fixed for future guests
