The property is nice. The staff were attentive and friendly. Sadly, there was no air condition in the room, and it was one of those very hot days. This was made clear at the time of booking so no issues there. But it would have been nice to have it during those hot days.

Room too hot

We stayed last Sat me and my husband as a little treat for my 50 birthday coming up in a couple of days.. The surroundings and the restaurant and the gym facilities were brillant. I have ms and also just recovering from a spinal surgery so the changing rooms wetecamazing,plenty of seats etc.. Onto the room,it was clean and comfortable but extremely too hot.. We stayed in room 40 which was the ground floor. The window was open all night,unfortunately the room was far to hot and i was awake from 2am having to put coldd water on my face. The fan was plugged in from 1.30am which was very noisy . What i thought was going to be a lovely night just wasnt.

The stay was overall excellent and I have only one complaint. During dinner my wife asked for the cheese board and specifically stated no blue cheese,in delivery, blue cheese appeared. When mentioned waiter stated she would inform the kitchen didn't even attempt to change the cheese or take it away. A little thing but not what I would expect from such an establishment.

Overall tbe hotel has a nice atmosphere and ambiance, however major issues: there is no air conditioning or was 25 degrees in August a small table fan isn't enough it was too hot. 2nd the dinner at took over 1 hour to arrive with a child being served at 9pm we complained they gave the dinner for free. The food was very good as was the breakfast - these little things were enough to annoy me and leave a review Shame

Lovely leisure stay

We had a lovely 3 night stay, food and service were excellent. Staff were very friendly and could not help enough. Only small negative was the lack of aircon in the room, it was particularly warm and the fan provided just pushed the hot air around

Far too hot and no drinking water in the room

Our stay was fine, but the room was unbelievably hot even though it was an averagely hot evening. It was as if the heating was on! There was a fan in the room but no air-conditioning whatsoever, which is odd considering this is a hotel that sports people stay at. Plus, there was absolutely no drinking water in the room at all.
